It is the last day of school and Mary Lou Finney has tostart a diary during the summer vacation. She starts by talking about her family. During the time she has to tell her parents that their cousin Carl Ray is coming over for a couple of weeks, and is coming on Saturday. Mary Lou’s mother gets a little mad that she just had tould her three days before he comes over, but she gets over it. Also Maggie, Mary Lou’s sisterwent out with her boyfriend Kenny and it is already midnight and she did not even call.

Your ideas summarize what you read pretty well, but some of your facts are wrong. Mary Lou didn’t tell the family that Carl Ray is coming to stay - Mr. Finney did. There are some other details that you could have included - Mary Lou’s best friend and the boy she likes - those are important parts. You need to watch spelling and how you type - you have extra spaces between words.

should have included the way that carl ray looked and the way he
acts.
