The Finney’s are going to Mr. Furtz funeral. It was called DiMaggio’s Funeral. They went their to say their last words to Mr. Furtz and wanted to talk to the Furtz family. Also Carl Ray went with the family which was a shock to the family, because he is always at home watching TV. Alex Cheevey started hanging out with Mary Lou more at the pool. They also talk about the book “Odyssey”. While the family was all at home Carl Ray got a phone call from a person named Mr. Biggers and the family starts getting very noisy at asking him what it was for. The reason was that he was giving Carl Ray five thousand dollars for college. Also Alex Cheevey likes Mary Lou.

The part where Alex Cheevy went to see his friends the Murphys again and saw Mary Lou was kind of funny, becuase she likes him and doesn’t know what to say to him. When Beth Ann went on a date with Derek on (p.39) was funny and dumb because after her date she would tell Mary Lou every thing that happen on her date. At the same time it was dumb because Derek could like Beth Ann, but Beth Ann does not like Derek or the other way around. You would not know how to tell him or her you do not like him or her. Another important part was when Mr. Furtz passed away because he is one of the important character. 

1. Describe Beth Ann’s new behavior. How does Mary Lou feel about it?

 Beth Ann’s new behavior is that she does not tell Mary Lou about her date and usually she says everything she did. Mary Lou feels annoyed because she wants to know what happened on Beth Ann’s date and she only tells her a little at a time.

2. How does Mary Lou react when Mr. Furtz dies?

Mary Lou reacts by Mr. Furtz death was that she went to the Furtz’s house the next day to get her kids. Mary Lou and her sister Maggie went to get Mrs. Furtz’s kids so they would not need to be in the house while the mom figures everything out about Mr. Furtz death.

It is the last day of school and Mary Lou Finney has tostart a diary during the summer vacation. She starts by talking about her family. During the time she has to tell her parents that their cousin Carl Ray is coming over for a couple of weeks, and is coming on Saturday.  Mary Lou’s mother gets  a little mad that  she just had tould her three days before he comes over, but she gets over it. Also Maggie, Mary Lou’s sisterwent out with her boyfriend Kenny and it is already midnight and she did not even call.

The Titanic had one of the best technology on a ship. During the trip it hit an iceburg and sank. 

1.Why was Paul content to be backup goalie?

Paul is content to be backup goalie because in Lake Windsor Middle school they did  know about his IEP. In Tangerine Middle School they do not know. The reason he could play becuase his mom did not tell the school. So that is great for Paul because know he can play in a team. 

2.What happened when Paul went in to the soccer game for Victor? What was Victor’s reaction?

 When Paul went in for Victor he did not know really what to do. So what Paul did was just going along with everyone. After a while Paul made a goal. Victors reactions to the goal was he was very excited for him.

3.Why didn’t Maya need Mrs. Fisher’s encouragement?”

Maya did not need Mrs. Fisher’s encouragement because  Maya was already on a soccer team for Tangerine Middle School. She was also a really good foward.  She is one of the best players onthe team. She is going to be on the boys team.

If I were making Tangerine a movie and I had to put background music the music I would use is country music for the begining of the movie because it starts in Houston, Texas. Then more into the movie I would use slow sad music because of all the sad things happening to Paul. And the muck fire near their new house.

1. The snapshot is mostly about were TVs are located in the house.
2. The title is “Working TVs at home.”
3. The way the data is presented makes it interesting for the reader because the diagram is easier to understand for the readers
4. The pictures fit with the title because the picture is a satilite and you usallly need a satilite so you can watch TV.
5. The type of graph is a circle graph and the numbers are by percentages.
6. What I learned is that more than 50% of homes have at least three working TVs.
